This lifestyle center hosts dozens of specialty stores, restaurants, and even a movie theater. If you need a new television, kitchen appliance, stereo system, or anything in between, Abt Appliances and Electronics is the place for you. Abt Appliances is the largest independently-owned appliance retailer in the United States, so you are bound to find something to pique your interest.

Glenview not only has plenty of great places to shop, but it also has countless delicious restaurants. If you’re a pancake lover, Elly’s Pancake House is your new breakfast spot. Glenview has over 800 acres of park districts and outdoor spaces for residents to enjoy. Gallery Park is the largest community park in Glenview with nearly 150 acres of land and outdoor areas. This site has tennis courts, walking paths, playgrounds, and a lake where patrons can sail their boats. Gallery Park also offers health and fitness programs for adults and children to enjoy.

The historic Wagner Farm is both a booming farmer’s market and an educational experience designed to preserve the agricultural history of Glenview. You can browse the stalls for homegrown crops and artisan products and attend special events to learn about agriculture's important role in our society.

For a more luxurious outdoor experience, Glenview residents can delight in a thrilling round of golf at The Glen Club. Situated on the former site of a Naval Air Station, the Glen Club features gorgeous rolling hills and tranquil lakes bordered by the Chicago skyline.
